TREATMENTS
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is one of main treatment methods in Chinese Traditional Medicine (TCM). TCM is an empirical science that treats the whole person; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The vital energy called Qi has always been the basic tenet in TCM. When the flow of the Qi is disrupted or blocked, this can be detrimental to a person’s health leading to various health concerns. In the medical system built on this concept, diagnosis evaluates the state of the Qi, while the treatment is aimed at bringing it into balance and harmony.
Acupuncture, as one of the healing techniques of TCM, is a safe, effective, chemical-free and non-invasive procedure. This activates the body’s remarkable self-healing abilities or power and is used to regain health and wellbeing. The science of this ancient Asian technique is associated with the choice of the points in the patient’s body. The direction, the depth of the insertion and the subtle manipulation of the needle at these points are pivotal in balancing Qi. This technique stimulates the production of endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers and positively affects the endocrine and nervous system helping the body to achieve a state of balance.
‘Traditional Medicine and Complementary Medicine (T & CM) is an important and often underestimated part of health care. T&CM is found in almost every country in the world and the demand for its services is increasing. TM, of proven quality, safety, and efficacy, contributes to the goal of ensuring that all people have access to care. Many countries now recognize the need to develop a cohesive and integrative approach to health care that allows governments, health care practitioners and, most importantly, those who use health care services, to access T&CM in a safe, respectful, cost-efficient and effective manner.’ -
World Health Organization’s Traditional Medicine Strategy 2014-2023.
What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a non-invasive ancient powerful therapy that uses the feet and hands as a map of the entire body. It applies pressure to the relevant reflex points on the feet or hands and opens natural pathways to re-energise and re-balance the body. It helps release toxins from the body, facilitates blood circulation, improves nerve function and brain power, boosts metabolism and energy level, and assists the body to heal naturally by enhancing self-healing abilities. This harmless technique can help you deal with many common ailments. The treatment offers a state of deep relaxation in the body and mind that helps achieve general wellbeing of the person.
What is Biokiniseology
Biokinesiology is a holistic approach which uses gentle muscle testing to evaluate many
aspects of the body function in nutrition and biochemistry, structural and emotional realms.
Muscle testing allow me to find the root cause of the health issues. This could be food
intolerance, nutritional deficiency, toxic metals, infection, energy flow imbalance and many
more….
In order to bring the balance, I use nutrient supplements and herbs, acupuncture or
reflexology. Finally give the life style adjustment through breathing technique, hydrations,
food advise, suitable exercise and relaxation activities.
